The mission of Circles of Care is to develop a program that will transform behavioral health services and support systems for Quileute youth and their families who are experiencing emotional and behavioral disharmony.
Program Description:
The CoC Project goal is to transform behavioral health service and support systems. The target population for this system transformation is: Quileute children and youth under the age of 22 and their families who reside on or near the Quileute Reservation (Clallam County area) and who are experiencing emotional and behavioral problems, including serious emotional disorders, substance abuse, depression, low self-esteem, and loss of spiritual connection to our culture heritage. Outlook for 2008:
While the Circles of Care grant will end in September of 2008, we look forward to a successful award of funds through the Systems of Care to implement the important work this program has done in identifying the Tribe’s needs. We'll look at other potential grants to fullfill the needs exposed by Circles of Care in the event we are not awarded the Systems of Care grant.
