Hach chi i!
Kindergarten is off to a wonderful start. Each student has made a tabi l (canoe) to begin our journey of learning and fun. We worked on colors including red, blue, green, & purple and read about our friend, Brown Bear (Ka la A kil). Kindergarteners have made a hot air balloon so Brown Bear can look for all of his different colored friends.
We have talked about Special Me & My 5 Senses which was great opportunity to get to know one another. It also gave us a chance to try out some great experiments like making ice cream. We could see the ingredients, smell the vanilla, hear the sound of the ice & salt, feel the cold can, and most importantly taste the ice cream!
October will bring on lots of activities for keeping our bodies healthy. The leaves are falling and pumpkins are growing! Hmm I wonder what food group the pumpkins are in? We will keep you posted.
