Ocean Park Resort dates to the 1930s, when the first cabins here were completed, but the Quileute people have lived here for over 800 years. We have always shared our bounty with others. We are great seafaring people. Early in the morning and again at dusk you will see our fishing boats, out on the waters harvesting the seafood you await. We travel in our seagoing Ocean Canoes sometimes as far as 800 miles to Bella Bella far up in the inland passage. We roast salmon and other fish over fires the way we have for centuries. We are known around the world as creating the most beautiful hand woven baskets and wood carvings. We speak a language only to a few, and we welcome you.
